Are you a drinking water operator in need of continuing education hours for the upcoming June renewal deadline? Well then, listen up! There are limited seats available for the upcoming continuing education events, and we don’t want you to miss out on the opportunity to renew your license. Therefore, this spring we will be offering a continuing education class on organic removal.
The organic removal class on March 13 and 14 will be held at Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park. This class will cover techniques and technologies needed to remove the organics from your water supply, as well as the distribution system. We will also look at stopping the precursors that cause organics to form in drinking water systems. We will look at the positives and negatives to each process and discuss why it works better for some systems. This event will also give operators the chance to discuss what they have done at their facilities to control organics.
If you are interested in participating in this continuing education event, you can register online through E-Search. Please sign up early, as our continuing education trainings tend to fill up fast!
