Emerging Contaminants and Distribution Deficiency Class

On June 19 and 20, the Operator Certification Program will be leading a two-day continuing education course on emerging contaminants and distribution deficiency. During this session, we will discuss new contaminants that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is researching and looking at with more detail. The discovery of harmful contaminants could lead to more chemical monitoring by operators in the future. We will also examine the possible effects these chemicals could have on our water and way of life. On the second day of the training, we will discuss distribution deficiencies that operators are facing right now.

As you all know, the drinking water renewal deadline is fast approaching. Because of this, seats are filling up quickly for this unique opportunity, which satisfies needed continuing education hours! To sign up for this class, you can register online through E-Search.
