Are you or someone you know interested in internships and training programs for operators? If so, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will be hosting a workforce-focused webinar highlighting internships and training programs on Tuesday, June 19, from 1-2:30 p.m. EDT. These programs were developed by utilities, schools and associations to help train the next generation of operators.
This webinar is geared toward state drinking and wastewater programs, utilities, technical high schools, utility associations and state workforce agencies. Some of the programs to be featured include the Alaska Job Corps Water/Wastewater Operator Training Program, City of Groton Water Pollution Control Authority Internship Program and Operator Training Committee of Ohio Water Environment Technician Program.
