Louisville Water Company is accepting applications for a Supervisor – Plant Maintenance, Regional Operations position. Applications will be accepted until Oct. 3, 2012. At a minimum, the applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or related science, preferably in mechanical or electrical disciplines and five (5) years of experience in the area of water treatment operations, maintenance, distribution or industrial plant operations and maintenance. Or, applicants may possess an Associate’s degree, preferably in engineering or related science, preferably in mechanical or electrical disciplines and nine (9) years of experience in the area of water treatment operations, maintenance, distribution or industrial plant operations and maintenance; and technical experience resolving electrical and mechanical equipment issues. Must possess a Kentucky Class IV-A water treatment plant operator’s license and Indiana WT3 water treatment operator certification or the ability to obtain one within 18 months of placement in position; and a 40-hour Hazardous Material Technician Certificate or ability to obtain one within 24 months of placement in position; and a valid driver’s license.
