Has Your Drinking Water License Been Terminated?

The renewal cycle for certified drinking treatment, distribution and bottled water system operators ended on June 30, 2012. If your drinking water treatment, distribution and/or bottled water license expired on June 30, 2012 and you did not renew your drinking water treatment, distribution and/or bottled water license by December 31, your license has been terminated. Certified operators with expired licenses cannot be directly responsible or in charge of a drinking water or bottled water system.

In order to become a certified drinking water treatment, distribution and/or bottled water operator, you must submit the Education and Experience Documentation Form, Registration Form for Exams and Training and applicable fee to the Division of Compliance Assistance, Certification and Licensing Branch.

Please visit the program’s website located at dca.ky.gov/certification to access our training schedule and register for a certification school or exam-only event or contact our office at 1-800-926-8111 for more information.
