Continuing Education Opportunity- Alternative Disinfection and Technologies

The Operator Certification Program will be conducting the Alternative Disinfection and Technologies continuing education class on March 26-27, at Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park.  The topics covered in class, which are applicable to wastewater and drinking water operators, include

  • Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR),
  • UV Technologies,
  • Activated Carbon,
  • Fixed Film Media and
  • Cost-Saving Measures on Pumps.

In addition, vendors will present information about different services valuable to wastewater and drinking water operators, along with the Vendor Speed Dating session during break and after class that includes product displays. Operators find this time invaluable to learn about techniques that help their municipality stay in compliance.
