It’s Wastewater Treatment and Collection Certification Renewal Time!

Attention all certified Wastewater Treatment and Collection operators! It is certification renewal time. You must renew your certifications between Jan. 1 and June 30 of this year. If you renew after June 30 but before Dec. 31, you will have to pay a $250 late fee, along with the renewal fee of $50 for online renewal or $100 if you mail your renewal form into our office. If you fail to renew by Dec. 31, you must retake the Certification Exam.

To renew, you must have 12 continuing education hours for Class 1 and Class 2 operators or 24 continuing education hours for Class 3 and Class 4 operators. The continuing education hours must be board-approved, so if you take continuing education classes from someone other than the Operation Certification Program, make sure the course has been approved and the training provider has sent the training rosters to the Certification and Licensing Branch.

If you haven’t taken the required training to get the hours you need, you can find the Operator Training schedule for classes we are offering at .
